1. Who is responsible
The controller of personal data processed through this website (m-ads.info) is:
M-ADS Rue de Bourgogne 23, 1203 Genève, Switzerland Email: info@m-ads.info · Phone: +41 22 344 33 44
We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
2. What we process, why, and for how long
2.1 Enquiry, brief and booking forms
When you submit a form on this site, we process the data you enter: name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — phone or messenger contact, company details, budget frame and the content of your message or brief.
- Purpose: responding to your enquiry and preparing a proposal.
- Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the checkbox in the form. Each submission is recorded together with the time of consent and the version of this policy in force.
- Retention: 24 months from submission, after which records are deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 5).
Together with your submission we also record its technical context: the page the form was sent from, the page you arrived from (referrer), campaign tags from the address bar (UTM, click IDs), your browser language, time zone and screen size, the browser identification string, the country determined by our CDN and — only if you have accepted analytics cookies — the Google Analytics identifier from the _ga cookies. This context helps us understand which channel an enquiry came from and filter spam (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); it is stored together with the enquiry and deleted with it.
2.2 Server logs
Our web server records technical access data: IP address, requested URL, time, browser identification.
- Purpose: security, abuse prevention (rate limiting) and troubleshooting.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating a secure website.
- Retention: log files are rotated and deleted after 14 days. IP addresses are not stored together with form submissions.
2.3 Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 in Consent Mode. The measurement script loads with all consent signals denied by default: until you accept cookies, no analytics cookies are set and Google receives only anonymous, cookieless signals that cannot identify you. If you accept via the banner, analytics cookies are enabled; you can withdraw at any time in the Cookie Policy.
- Purpose: understanding how the site is used, in aggregate.
- Legal basis: consent for cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Art. 5(3) ePrivacy); legitimate interest for anonymous cookieless measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: analytics event data is retained by Google Analytics for up to 14 months.
3. Recipients and processors
We share personal data only with service providers needed to operate this site and answer you:
| Provider | Role | Location / transfer mechanism |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Gmail, Google Analytics) | Delivery of form notifications to our mailbox; site analytics (with consent) | EU / USA — certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework |
| Apple (iCloud Mail) | Hosting of our mailbox info@m-ads.info | EU / USA — certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework |
| Cloudflare | Content delivery network and proxy in front of our server | Global network; EU/US — Data Privacy Framework |
| FirstByte | Hosting of our web server | Server infrastructure provider |
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone for advertising purposes.
4. International transfers
Our base is in Switzerland (a country with an adequacy decision under the GDPR). Some providers listed above process data in the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the FADP you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erase your data (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format);
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@m-ads.info. We respond within 30 days. Erasure and export are performed technically across our records.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, the data protection authority of your country of residence.
6. What we don’t do
- No automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.
- No advertising cookies or cross-site tracking: the only optional cookies on this site are Google Analytics, and only after your consent.
- This site is not directed at children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date and version at the top of this page always reflect the current revision; substantive changes will be visible there.
